Tailwind Group and its partners are pleased to announce the recent acquisition of The Beacon in Auburn, Alabama, marking the fourth student housing acquisition for Tailwind Group in 2025. This property is located less than one mile from Auburn University and consists of 180 units and 576 bedrooms. The asset was purchased from an undisclosed seller, and the deal was brokered by Ryan Lang and his team at Newmark.

In the Fall, the property will undergo a capital improvement plan that includes clubhouse renovations and upgrades to the property’s amenities and exteriors. This property will also be re-branded to The Quarters Auburn.
