Greater Mankato Growth announced the 2015 winners of awards, including Community Bank and Tailwind Group for the Hall of Fame. GMG, Visit Mankato and City Center Partnership each year recognizes outstanding businesses, organizations and professionals at the Greater Mankato Business Awards & Hall of Fame presented by ISG.
This year’s event will be 5:30-8:30 p.m Nov. 17 at Verizon Wireless Center.
This year’s 2015 honorees:
Greater Mankato Growth Awards
Hall of Fame (honors private sector businesses that have been in the Greater Mankato region for 10+ years.): Community Bank and Tailwind Group
Distinguished Business Award (honors private sector businesses that have been in the Greater Mankato region for 3-10 years.): Champion Auto Enterprises.
Entrepreneurial Business Award (honors private sector businesses that have been in the Greater Mankato region for less than 3 years.): Freedom Homecare.
Brian Fazio Business Education Partnership Award (recognizes partnerships that enhance education and business in Greater Mankato): South Central College & CliftonLarsonAllen (Annual Ag Symposium).
Hap Halligan Leadership Award (recognizes an individual who has participated in the Greater Mankato Leadership Institute program and has demonstrated outstanding creative or innovative contributions to the community): Eric Oleson.
Young Professional of the Year (recognizes an individual between the age of 21-39 who has made outstanding contributions to the community through their demonstrated leadership and service): Elizabeth Harstad.
Visit Mankato Awards
Bring It Home Award (recognizes an individual, group or organization that works alongside Visit Mankato to bring a significant event to Greater Mankato): Minnesota Vikings 50th Training Camp.
Hospitality Award (recognizes an individual, group or organization who has gone above and beyond to provide outstanding hospitality to the visitors of Greater Mankato or who has helped promote Greater Mankato as a great destination to visit): Peter Olson, Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota.
City Center Partnership Awards
Renovation Over $3,000,000: Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota Building – Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota and City of Mankato.
New Construction Over $5,000,000: Profinium Place – The Tailwind Group and Mid Rise Holdings.
CityArt “People’s Choice” Award: To be revealed at event.
